DESCRIPTION: More than 150 marijuana dispensaries that had been awarded operating licenses by New York state might have to find new places to do business after state officials realized they had wrongly calculated how far the shops were from schools. State law bars dispensaries within 500 feet of a school. Shops that had already opened their doors were told that unless the law is changed, they will probably need to relocate. Others who had been granted licenses, but not yet opened, were told they would have to get reapproved for different locations
